Arduino Problem Serial Port Already in use

Hi,

I’m a beginner on Arduino use.

I loaded a sketch to my arduino duemilanove and it was working pretty good, but accidentally I unplugged the USB cable. When i plugged it once again, it said that the Serial Port was already in use. I restarted the arduino interface, but the error stayed there, and the Tx blinked constatly.

I restarted my laptop but nothing happens, just the Tx blinking

Any ideas to fix it?

I just did that and also disable/enable the port affected on the device manager and it worked.

It seems your OS got a bit mixed up. You might want to try uninstalling the Arduino drivers and installing them again.
