Arduino-Powered Desktop Pal – Lesson 4: Adding “Stereo” Ultrasonic Vision and Passive Infrared Sensing | RobotShop Community

In this fourth installment, endow your Desktop Pal with more sensors to increase its functionality. You’ll add a second ultrasonic sensor to enable your Pal to have a kind of “stereo” vision; a passive infrared (PIR) sensor to detect nearby motion, and even a “squawkbox”, to give your Desktop Pal a rudimentary sound effects – also helpful for audible feedback during development.
