Arducam shield revD not displaying MT9F001 camera on windows

Hello @farmerhays and welcome to the RobotShop forum,

I see that your config file says 1280x964 but the width and height say 2228 and 1254. I suggest you use this config file MT9F001_2228x1254.cfg.

I also recommend you check this guide:

Hello thanks for the reply,

I have read through the guide and tried each of the configs including the one your talking about and the camera is still not displaying. The device manager says the device is working fine but its not migrated. So I’m not sure if that’s a big deal. I’ve spent several hours trying to get it working on the raspberry pi because that is what I intend to use the MTF001 and USB rev D with. Right now I’m trying to get an image to display on Windows to figure out if something is wrong with the hardware I received or if I’m just not doing something right.

Thanks Again

You know what I did just get it working on windows. I’ll probably still need help with the raspberry pi though.
Thank You

That is great!

Could you tell us what the problem was? It could help others who present the same issue.

Maybe this can help you with the Raspberry Pi and the ArduCam Shield:

I found that it is important to go through x64 folder then through the release folder to get to the SDK. The Cfg files won’t show up in the drop down on this SDK which is good because the correct ones are in the config folder thats in the folder with raspberry pi, windows etc. Then in the SDK go to file, open, and browse for the camera config file through the rev D folder .

The release folder in the same folder as the x64 folder should be removed completely because the SDK in that folder has some misleading .Cfg files that won’t work.
