Arducam camera array

Hi!

I require your help regarding a problem I’m encountering.

I would like to create an array of at least 4 camera modules. The one I am interested in is AR0134 MONOCHROME module. I would like to place a short band-pass filter in each of them to capture light at specific wavelength (490, 615, 725 and 850 nm each) and connect them to a Raspberry pi. The first question is: is this camera compatible with Raspberry Pi. If yes, do you suggest me to connect it to the Raspberry through a USB camera shield (in this case I would need 4 camera shields connected via USB cable to the Raspberry) or through a multi camera adaptor.
I would like to use this system with UAVs.

Any suggestion is welcome!

Thank you so much in advance for your help!

Hi,

We have contacted the manufacturer to verify if the AR0134 would be compatible with this ArduCam Multi Camera Adapter Module for Raspberry Pi. Unfortunately, they are not. The AR0134 could only be used with the ArduCAM USB Camera Shield which will work with Raspberry Pi. To use 4 AR0134 cameras, you could probably use a USB Hub connected to the Raspberry Pi with 4 x ArduCAM USB Camera Shield.
The other option would be to use this ArduCam Multi Camera Adapter Bundle Kit which includes 4 x special version of the Raspberry Pi V2 Cameras.

Hope this helps,

Sorry for the late reply.
