Jonny, THAT is exactly what I am after. Thank you so much! I recon that should be put somewhere convenient.
Jim, yes it shows how I don’t need the cable, but gave me no idea of what to connect to on my ARC32.
Kurt, why, oh why couldn’t you have gone that little bit extra and tell where the other 3 wires go? Lol
The pins used are defined in the freakin ARC-32 programs… If you’re writing it yourself you can use whatever pins you want.
My apologies for not knowing that. Perhaps I should stop asking questions until I know more.
questions are the key to learning… thats why we are all here.
Questions are awesome. Attitudes, not so much. I was honestly trying to help you in my replies. I told you we have never made a schematic for the Basic Micro ARC-32. It’s not our board.
Forums and emails can be very frustrating at times. Just reading the words can suggest meaning the author never intended.
Jim, I am no wordsmith so have to apologize if my earlier post had ‘attitude’. In hindsight I should have pehaps given your post 2 separate comments. I do thank you for posting how to avoid buying the cable. I focused too much on the connections and not enough on the intent.
I have a lot to learn about this whole subject as I have little understanding of the software or the hardware.
I hope you accept my appology. I DO appreciate all the help. Future posts will be more carefully written.
