ARC-32 Community Still Active?

Hello
I was wondering if there was anyone still active in this community?

I would like to use the ARC-32 in a project but I’m finding the documentation lacking. Looks like the Basic Micro website is completely shutdown.

Thanks Rufe0

Anyone know if the ARC-32 uses the pro-40 chip?

I don’t believe the ARC-32 is available any more. I’d go with a BotBoarDuino.

Still available to buy from robotshop, I’ve just found basicmicro.co.uk hopefully I will have a bit more luck there, if I could just register on the forum without the spam filter blocking me…

Basic Micro has chosen to focus exclusively on motor controllers and has essentially stopped producing all other boards. The products we have left (aside from motor controllers) will be discontinued when we sell the remaining stock.

SSC-32U Servo controller (alternative):

Thanks, do you have a link to windows 7 drivers?

The SSC-32U seems to be more geared to the cookie cutter servo sequencer rather than direct programming, correct me if I’m wrong. For my project I need direct low level access, interrupts and so on.

You can send normal serial commands to the SSC-32U from any microcontroller or computer.
The arc32 uses a normal FTDI VCP driver.
