Hi,

Can the motor in the Tamiya 6-speed Gear Box work as a generator if the shaft is rotated?
Can it rotate both ways or just in one direction?
I couldn’t find the dimensions of the product so I was wondering if there is any documentation or datasheets for the product that you can provide me.

Hi Mariana,

In “theory” you could but it will be really hard to turn.
There is only one shaft in this system that go across the gearbox so turning either side will have the same effect.
