APod Mandibles On AL5D Arm?

I have the AL5D arm with the heavy duty wrist rotate mounted and a BotBoarduino controller.

I would like a wider grip and have read the 2008 thread “The SES Arm Gripper Modifications” which shows modifications I will certainly try.

But comes now the APod with the great looking mandibles. I was wondering if the arm could support the mandibles and if so, how to mount them, and will the mandibles be available as a separate kit?

Unfortunately I do not know if the mandibles will ever be a separate kit.

If it were tried I would recommend using a shorter forearm tube.
