Anyone found the "Wii Camera" as a part?

Hi all,

I was just wondering if anyone has found the wii camera as a part?  I found the original company manufacturer at one point, but I have a feeling that their contract with Nintendo means they will not sell their camera as a "part".  If I remember they had other models.  

It would be nice if there was a "very" inexpensive camera on the same lines as a wii, but even possibly skewed to 620 nm instead of IR - so that it would be matched with a common key-chain laser..

I still troll Ebay for broken WiiMotes and desolder all of them manually. I have searched and searched for any supplier I could find for just the camera itself. So far, no go.
