Any Slider robot/ Arm could fulfill most of my requirements?

Hi!

I require your help regarding a problem I’m encountering.

I am looking for a robot arm to use for microphone probe scanning on engine or high voltage unit surface which need to keep the microphone in between 5-10mm from the unit surface.

I would require something like a proximity sensor that can keep the microphone probe at a fixed distance from the unit surface. And it needs to reach at least 700mmx700mm in horizontal and vertical.

Is there any robot arm or slider robotic could fulfill our requirements? Can be extend and install proximity sensor will be good.

Do you have a budget? Note that not many allow for a distance sensor to be installed (most have their own accessories which they support and a distance sensor tends not to be one of them). 70cm is quite a reach, so you’re likely looking at several thousand dollars.
