Any hints for controlling SSC-32 with Texas Inst. Labview

Hey Everyone,

looking to control 22-27 servo motors using labview. Has anyone done servo motor control before with SSC-32 and labview?

Are there any other options for servo control using labview? Labview allows imbedded C programs which can run to provide the serial output. Has anyone done this and could give me some pointers?

Here are some details,

  1. Servos will be oscillating at between 1 and 5 hz (absolute maximum). Therefore all servos will have to be updated simultaneously at a 50 hz 20ms.

  2. Some servos will be given the same PVM (pulse width modulated) signal and some others will have different PVM signals for different amplitudes of oscillation. Frequency will be constant for all servos.
