Another powering option

I’ve been searching for a good rechargable battery power option for electronics. I finally bought a Lithium Backpack from LiquidWare. I have the high capacity, and more expensive, version. I’ve been using this to power my portable Arduino projects, but it occured to me it should be ideal for general robotics usage also. With that, I wanted to share this with everyone. Naturally, this backpack is designed to fit under a standard Arduino board, and there is also a larger version for the Arduino Mega, but it should be great with any robot project also. The Lithium Backpack is rechargeable from a standard USB port with a mini-USB cable.

LiquidWare makes quite a few interesting gadgets that might also be put to use in robotics projects, like their Button Shield and Button Pad, for instance. I’m sure folks here could find uses for lots and lots of buttons…

I actually use R/C racing battery packs like this one (no i dont work for them for site that came up on google):
Venom Racing 20c 7.4V 5000mAH rather not cheap for but works great

and and yea that button shield is cool. i plan on using it in this robot someday. But the button need a cover, i got bing hands and its hard not to hit two buttons at once.
