Alimentation steppers

Hi everyone ,

I am a perfect noob at this so would like to some confirmation before I start buying all I need.

I would like to power a stepper (this one: robotshop.com/en/replicator-2-2x-nema-17-hybrid-stepper-motor.html)

I have chosen the following driver: robotshop.com/eu/fr/controleur-moteurs-v2-arduino.html

Then I also would like to power the driver using a battery. I have found this: robotshop.com/eu/fr/batterie-lipo-111v-2500mah-30c-eu.html

Questions:
Is there a problem using those elements together ? Is it the right battery to use to power the stepper ? How to improve?

Thanks for your help !!!

Hi Kylke,

Those parts will work together. We however recommend a NiMh battery for those kind of project but LiPo will work.
Make sure you never discharge the LiPo any lower than 3.1V per cells (9.3V for a 3S like you are looking at). We suggest a Voltage Monitor for this purpose.
