Aligning Shoulder servos

I’m looking for a way to align the shoulder servos so that they each are supporting the same amount of weight. I had an issue with the servos fighting each others, and it was suggested to use the offset command to move one in alignment with the other, but is there a way to check to make sure they are taking the same load and that they are in line?

Not sure why you’d need that. But I suggest you make a lever arm between the two arms (or past the shoulder joints) something like a tongue depressor, and a fulcrum (bearing point) between the two. The idea is to have both shoulders lift the lever arm against the fulcrum. The forces should be balanced, as seen by a level lever arm. First get the surface the 'bot is on level (use a spirit level), and then observe the lever arm. Adjust one or the other shoulder position to balance (a small string level or perhaps a spot might be useful here). Determine the offset(s) needed, and set the data into the SSC32 with the offset command.

Why are they fighting? I discussed two SEPARATE shoulder servos (like a humanoid), otherwise you’ll have to disconnect them from each other, and rig something (like match two lever arms?) to observe the positional differences.
