How do you align the AL5D arm just using the PS2 controller board? I cant seem to figure that out. It has the program code installed from Lynx. Help please!
Which PS2 controller board?
I’m using Basic Atom Pro 28
Don’t know if there is any specific tutorials and the like for Arm only on BB2/BAP28 combination. There is a tutorial for it when it is installed on a Rover: lynxmotion.com/images/html/build148.htm
Assuming you set up your arm using the same IO pins as used in this tutorial, I believe there is a servo offset program that is mentioned in step 11, which may work for you. It has been awhile since I played with my AL5D, but earlier I extracted the ARM code from rover with arm code that is mentioned in step 15. Probably copies of this are up somewhere up on the forum including(viewtopic.php?t=7639&p=78572#p78572)

Okay, I will give it a shot and see what happen.
Thanks!
You are welcome. I am not sure if you were wanting it or not, but I have included a version a version of the Arm code that was stripped from the Rover code…
arm from rover 1.2.bas (33.5 KB)
Thank you,
I will try this as well!
