AL5D with PS2 Controller - Alternate control scheme?

Hello all,

Quick question regarding the controller scheme for the AL5D. I don’t really like how it’s set up, and I think I could run with it a lot smoother if I could switch it around. Unfortunately, I’m only at about novice level when it comes to programming, so switching that around myself seems rather impossible.

Does anyone have programming already done, or know where I could find the code, for a more user-friendly control scheme?
