Just got the AL5D Robotic arm, it’s assembled and working.
I want to add the wrist rotate… is this all I need to buy?

Others can probably answer better than I can, but I think you need to verify you have one of these:

Your kit probably came with one of them, but if you dont have one…

Ok, then I think I’m good. I just ordered the rotating wrist and it looks like I’ll have everything I need.
Thanks
I may be too late, but I’ve tried both wrist rotates HD and Lightweight, and I much prefer the lightweight.
It all depends on what you are doing with it though. If you are just lifting cubes, blocks and other things the weight of a checker or so, I have found the HD is much heavier than needed, adds lots of weight to the end of the arm making it less accurate and putting undo strain on the servos.
If you are lifting heavier objects though, you’re probably right on!
Just my two cents!
Thank you for this, I have noticed that with the heavy-duty wrist it seems to bounce around a little more… and it appears to make a big difference in the accuracy as well. (Seems like the motors don’t always get swung to the correct position as much any more) It has a hell of a grip, but I’m more focused on the accuracy. Plus I’m not picking up anything over a few ounces, so I’m getting the lightweight wrist for sure. Thanks for that note, it is definitely helpful advice.
Appreciate it!
No Problem! Let me know if accuracy improves!
