Hi Guys,Please see the video here: youtu.be/pQNSJuuJtrs
Power supply is 6.0V/5.0A.
What might be causing this? Thanks!
Hi,
In your setup shown in the video, it seems like the wrist angle RC servomotor is at the wrong position and possibly forcing against the bracket.
This may be causing other issues with the robot, such as constant resets (causing the arm to jerk around as it loses and regains power continuously).
Make sure you have the VS=VL jumper OFF (not in place).
First, disconnect all servomotor cables from the SSC-32U.
Then, verify that all cables attached to extension cables are wires properly (black to black, red to red, yellow to yellow).
Afterwards, connect only the base servomotor and try again the same test as before (such as all=1500 or something similar).
If that works, add the next servomotor (shoulder) and try again.
Keep adding servomotors one by one until you get the problem again.
In your reply, please post pictures of the setup, making sure to show clearly the following:
The SSC-32U and all of its components (the board, the jumpers, the cables, the power source)
The servo angle and gripper assemblies. Please take pictures of each from more than one angle so all components can be seen easily.
The arm assembly overall.
Sincerely,
Hi Sébastien,
Thanks for reply. I disconnected elbow servo from the board and reconnected again. This fixed it. Perhaps contact was not good enough.
Glad to hear this. Good luck with your project!
