AL5D BotBoarduino Won't Turn on and Isn't Recognized

Hello,

I recently purchased and built an AL5D robot arm. I finished construction yesterday and wanted to plug it in to try and start programming. The first time I plugged it in, the power LED lit up and drivers were installed on my computer. Of course, I was having trouble programming and trying to figure out how to program the arm. However, I left for lunch and when I came back and plugged the board back in, my computer did not recognize the device, the power LED did not come on, and I couldn't get the arm to do anything, even flinch. Has anybody ever had this problem before? Is it fixable or did I fry my chip? Thank you for the help.

Sincerely,

Hi,

What were you using to “program the arm”? Were you able to make it move or respond to your input?

Please provide us with one or more pictures clearly showing all connections to the controller board. You can attach pictures in your reply from the by opening the “Attachments” section near the preview/submit/save draft/cancel buttons.

Sincerely,
