The AL5D robotic arm we own has HS-485HB servo at its base, and the movement it generates isn’t always the same (same Pulse Width doesn’t necessarily bring the arm to same position);
what could be the reason for it?

This is the first time we have heard of such an issue. The potentiometer inside is absolute.
How much deviation are you seeing? If it’s close (for example ~5 degrees) this can be due to inertia, loose fittings and/or friction.
