Helloes again,
we’re a small dutch industrial automation firm with a specialism, vision.
I’m using the AL5 for two kids doing a internship here.
Controlling the robot via our own software suite, programming in JS, using al it’s functions and understanding all it’s hardware characteristics (eg. servo’s, microcontrollers, pwm etc).
They are doing quite nice for kids without any programming experience
Their final assignment is to get the the robot to do simple ‘binpicking’, locating an object using a time of flight 3D sensor, calibrating those coordinates to the robotworld and getting it to pick up the object.
Is there any way to use the RIOS XYZ system in JS, or has someone already made a XYZ movement algoritm in JS? I’m afraid it’s too difficult for my interns to program the XYZ world on their own, and I can’t find a way around it…
Any idea’s?
