Afiniti A9 user manual and drivers

Hi!

I require your help regarding a problem I’m encountering.

Description: I do not have the user manual, and could not find. The SD card that comes with the kit is corrupted.

Hardware concerned: Afiniti A9 3D printer

Software concerned: User manual (so I can assemble the printer), and the laser driver/software (so I can use the 3D printer).

Troubleshooting steps already taken: Searched the web, and robotshop forums, to no extent.

Additional information: I’m old school, I would have loved having a printed copy of the manual. I don’t mind electronic copies, but the SD card in the kit is corrupted, which is a bummer, isn’t it?

Thank you so much in advance for your help!

Hi @biggnou and welcome to our forum.

We are sorry to hear about your problem.

Have you bought your product via RobotShop?

Can you send us a link to it?

Also, did you try to contact manufacturer directly?

Thank you.

Hi @igor_X,

Yes, bought via RobotShop. Link to the printer: https://www.robotshop.com/ca/fr/kit-imprimante-3d-graveur-laser-a9-afinibot-assemblage-partiel.html

I did not try to contact the manufacturer, I contact the seller first, and I was told to use the great community for support, so here I am

I’m basically just after an image of the SD card I am supposed to have. I visited Afinity’s website, but could not find what I am looking for. The SD card I received in the box is corrupted, since Afinity is not providing it, if RobotShop could share the image, I’ll burn it back on the SD card and be happy.

Thanks!

Alex.

Hi again @biggnou and thank you for your reply.

User manual is on this link: https://www.robotshop.com/media/files/zip2/afinibot_a9_-_documents.zip
Software is here: https://www.robotshop.com/media/files/zip2/lasergrave.zip

Have you already downloaded those?

And there you go!

@igor_X, you’re the man!

Exactly what I was looking for. Will now start the assembly, then have fun with my printer!

Just out of curiosity, and because I’m not familiar with the RobotShop site, how did you find those two ZIP files? I searched on the forum of course, and I used the search feature on the landing page of the RobotShop page, but found nothing. How did you do?

Alex.

Hey @biggnou,

That’s good!

Anyway, you were so close to the files. On the link you shared, you should just go to the bottom of the page where we usually post links to datasheet, user manuals, etc. for that product.
