Hi I have had my printer that I bought here for over 2 years and I always wanted to know one thing when I go to change the filament and put new stuff into the extruder the whole x carriage will move downward with the slightest pressure on the extruder is this suppose to happen or are the threaded rods on the z motors no good. Any help would be great as I like this printer.

It’s normal to have the carrier to move down if you apply force.
The motors are stepper motors and they don’t have a strong holding torque. It might be possible to adjust the current output depending of your mainboard.
