Afinibot A1 - Stuck in Dry Run mode

I have an Afinibot A1 which has been printing for a little while now. I came across another post here that had an updated firmware (07-28-2016) so I thought I would update. Bad idea, now my bot won’t heat up. It says that it’s stuck in Dry Run mode. This is what’s in the log when I connect: “Error:Printer set into dry run mode until restart!”. If I connect through Repetier and use the manual controls to heat up the extruder nothing happens. I see that the temp is set to 200 but it doesn’t get hot.

I’ve tried restarting everything: cpu, printer, unplug printer, toggle power switch, re-upload firmware and manually change the Debugging setting for Dry run: On to Off but it just changes it right back.

Any idea how to fix this?
Flash old firmware? do you have the old firmware?

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.

We have not encountered this issue before and have written to the manufacturer. We’ll get back to you as soon as we receive their reply.

The manufacturer requests that you send an e-mail directly to them. You can use our contact Tina [email protected]

Thanks CBenson.

I actually already email the MFG and tried skyping them but they didn’t reply.
You guys were my last resort.

Thankfully you guys have the ‘old’ Firmware on your product page and was able to reflash that, which fixed it.

I believe the problem was that the A1V2 version included a dual extruder and heated bed which the Afinibot A1 does not have.

best reagrds.

Happy to hear the issue is resolved so you can use the product.

I have the same problem but I have not found the previous firmware version, could you give me the link from where the download?
