Hi, I bought an L12-S linear actuator with remote. I’m representing the UK in a global competition and have a skull on a spear where the back of an arrow pops out the skull like I’ve just been shot at.
I am lost with what battery to use. I want it to last and be able to allow me to test it and use onstage without it running out. It needs to be 12V, I’m unsure on the Ah rating.
I’ve looked at lithium batteries, power banks, packs to put 8 AAs in. Does anyone know something ideal - it needs to be small enough to fit inside a skull. Thanks!
I would choose an 11.1V (close to 12V) lithium-ion battery. The bigger one you choose (higher capacity), the more power it will have available and your project can run for longer time.
I don’t know how much space you have inside the scull, but here are some example batteries where you can get impression on the size and capacity:
Other types around 12V can include a small lead acid, NiMh etc.
