Advice needed - Stirling Engine

I bought as a present a Hot Air powered Stirling engine for my step son. It has a small generator that produces 3-5v. The Stirling engine came with one led light to connect to the generator. Unfortunately it came with instructions in chinese and I am clueless about it myself.

To make the stirling engine more attractive and ensure that it is an inspiring, fun and educational experience, I wondered if there are items that can be connected to the generator that I could purchase to complement the stirling engine. Either lights, create a small action or a counter of some sort… any idea welcome !

Also, are there any books that you would suggest I purchase to complement this present so to have a learning and understanding of the sterling engine and step up from there?

I thank you very much for any input and advice.

All the best
Kind regards
Delphine

To connect the LED, identify the anode (+) and cathode (-) pins of the LED (the longer pin should be anode) and connect them accordingly to the output of the generator : anode to + and cathode to -.
You can also connect a buzzer module to make some sound when the generator is providing 3V-5V.
