Advice Needed on Wheel Encoders

Hi,

I recently bought a 2-wheel robot chassis off of Amazon (This one), which came with encoder disks to place on the motors, but no actual encoders to use with the disks. The encoder disks are ones with slots in them for the light to go through. I would like to use the encoders to calculate the distance that my Arduino-based robot has travelled.

Can anybody give me some advice as to where I can find some appropriate encoders for my robot, possibly with some links? I would greatly appreciate it.

Although we cannot guarantee the motors you have are identical, you can consider the following encoder kits (some adaptation may be needed):
