Adeept kit 4WD AWR-A servo problem?

Hi!

I require your help regarding a problem I’m encountering.

I’ve just put together the car with the adeept smarthub and everything. However, i am greatly confused by something.
Before even installing any program on the board, I plugged the whole thing into my computer and the servo starting rotating spontaneously on its own. I ended up unplugging the servo wire from the board and plugging it again and the issue was solved. However, after uploading the program, it rotated once again and stopped. Now, this is the servo’s position after i installation of the wifi_arduinoTCP18 program.

Is this normal ? is my servo not calibrated well ?

Thank you so much in advance for your help!

Hi there,
I just have a question about the smart car kit 4WD AWR-A. I saw in the product description that it comes with an adeept smart hub card, and i was wondering if i could program it using the arduino interface or do i need to buy an arduino card separately?? I’m sorry, i’ve never dealt with this type of microcontroller before.

Hello @Manel0_0 and welcome to the RobotShop forum,

Yes, it is an Arduino-based board so you can use the Arduino IDE to program it. You can find more information about this in the product manual (pages 27+) available on the ZIP files on the Useful Links.
