My robot needs eyes in order to facilitate interactions with humans!

We already offer the Teensy 3.2 USB Microcontroller Development Board. The OLED Breakout Board - 16-bit Color 1.5" will be soon available under the product code : RB-Ada-449 and the Adafruit 1.44" Color TFT LCD Display with MicroSD Card breakout - ST7735R under the product code : RB-Ada-450.
As for using the OLED Breakout Board - 16-bit Color 0.96" instead of the 1.5", that’s probably possible but you will need 0.96" cabochons instead of 1.5" and you will need to adapt the 3D Printed enclosures (changing the dimensions) if you want to follow the tutorial instructions.

I do not know what you mean by “cabochons”. I googled it. Still can’t figure out.
So Robotshop has no plans to sell 0.96" OLED. Is that correct?
Can you do special order and avoid me the hastle of getting it across the border? But would need confirmation that it will work not “probably”. I notice that Adafruit themselves don’t list it as compatible. But looking at description, I could not figure out why it would not work. Changing 3D print dimensions is not a problem.

The cabochons are the transparent acrylic domes that will be placed on the LCD for the “eyes”.
The 0.96" OLED has been discontinued and unfortunately is no longer available through our store.
Since we didn’t go through the tutorial and didn’t build this Electronic Animated Eyes, we can’t be 100% sure that it will work straight-forward. As we can see in the tutorial, the parts that will need to be changed would be the 3D printed enclosures and the clear acrylic domes.
