About servo accuracy

HSR-5995TG:
1100uS up to 1900uS
800uS for 180degree = 0.225 per 1uS
Response of servo is 2uS (see Terminal)
So, angular accuracy is 0.45 degree

HS-5955TG:
750uS up to 2250uS
1500uS for 180 = 0.12degree per 1uS
But, responsability of servo is 7-8uS (see Terminal)
So, angular accuracy is 0.9 degree

Unfortunately, the accuracy of SEQ is only 0.9 degree.
So, exactness of 5995 twice as a high.

To utillize possibilities of servo, I do “export” of project from SEQ and divide angles on two (Excel). Then make “import” to SEQ and turn on “play”. 5995 works fine with double precision

Is this with default deadband values? The deadband can be adjusted to a lower value with the servo porgrammer. This may increase the resolution of the servo.

The more so, but I would like to trust, that problem of SEQ will be decided 8)

I do not understand. SEQ has the same resolution as the SSC-32, which is 1us, which is 0.09°…

(2500uS - 500uS) / 180° = 0.09°

Sorry! Really, SEQ is the best 8)
Can the servo programmer to extend range of 5995 to 750-2250?

No, sorry the Hitec Digital servos respond to 900uS - 2100uS. That can’t be altered. :frowning:

I construct the erector set for my film production studio.
What servo will do the maximal amount of the stably distinguished steps from an edge to the edge?

The analog 645 will have the most steps, 2000 / 180°, but all of the digital servos use 1200 / 140° out of the box, and 1200 / 180° after programming with the DSP… But the analog servo can be off by 10° under heavy load. :frowning:
