Concerning the main brush, you will need to buy a new one. It is an accessories and accessories are not covered by the manufacturer warranty. You can find one HERE
-
Concerning the front sensors, are you talking about the drop sensors (The 2 sensors that are located on the bottom left and bottom right under the Neato)??
Hi Josué,
I agree with you about the brush: it is an accessory, and I understand that is not covered by the warranty because it is a wearing part.
However, the brush doesn’t need to be replaced. In fact, it ran for only two months, and it is still in perfect condition. The brush cannot be used anymore because the bearing seized after less than 50 hours of work. The warranty is supposed to cover a typical usage of the equipment. I don’t understand why I should buy a new brush because part of it is mismanufactured.
I am very sorry to have to remind to your attention that the warranty is mandatory to protect any buyer against a manufacturing defectiveness.
This is my second Neato in three years and I assure you that I can recognize when a part is defective by nature. The bearing is seized because it is poor quality. I bought this robot at Robotshop because your company claims it is taking care of its customers on behalf of the manufacturer. Customer service at Neato sucks. I am aware of it since I have got a lot of trouble with the first robot. It cost me less stress, time and energy to buy a new high-end model than to fix my first D85. I am sorry to say that your answer is not appropriate regarding the defectiveness of the product. Please raise the bar.
In the meantime, the link you sent me leads to the wrong product. Here it is the right link address for the right brush: robotshop.com/en/neato-botva … brush.html
Concerning the protecting plastic ‘‘glass’’, I confirm that I am talking about the drop sensors.
Thank you
Have a great day
