A self loading bowl for a water pipe

Yes for 3000 years, from the very first caveman stoner

man has sot a self loading bowl… I live in california, have my medical marijuana state card, and have been checking out the Vtower extreme Q vaporizer, arizer.com/ now this thing comes with a remote control and a internal three speed fan that allows the user to basically pump the vapor to him by remote… only problem… the thing wont load itself.

looking at the basic design it would seem pretty simple to have a robotic arm remove and replace the vape bowl (which just drops into the top). I am wondering, do you think the L5 could be programed to do this easily?

yeah I know its a pretty goofy idea, but seriously, I run a MMJ delivery service and I know a number of people who are disabled, bed ridden, and have to have a caretaker re-load their vaporizers, something that could do that for them would be a big help.

Well it looks like no one wants to discuss something so controversial. lol I’m sure it could easily be done. May not need a full 3DOF arm. Could probably do it with a simpler custom assembly and a microcontroller to control the servos. Good luck with it!

I’m not goin’ there!

Me either!

You can make a simple bowl loader out of a servo (or other motor with a little strength) and a toggle switch from Radio shack. Make a v shaped pot holder with a hole in both sides of the bottom. Get a dowell and put thru the holes in the bottom. Fill with pot. When a charge is needed, have the motor pull back the dowell so some pot falls in the dowell area. Then have the motor push the dowell foward, pushing a charge of pot out the hole in the other side. Repeat as desired.
