Can I use a Sabertooth 2x12 RC to control a Wild Thumper 35:1 6WD?

The Wild Thumper 35:1 6WD has 6 motors, as the sabertooth 2x12 has two channels you would have to connect three motors per channel. According to the motor’s specs, the stall current is 5.5A, 3x5.5A=16.5A. The peak current of the sabertooth 2x12 is 25A so that should be ok. Also, if we approximate the continuous current to 25% of the stall current we get around 4A so the 12A should be more than enough. So in short, yes you can use that controller with the Wild Thumper 35:1 6WD.

Thanks for the welcome geraldinebc15 and for setting me straight. I wasn’t sure if it was 25A per channel or total. I guess that’s the question I should have asked. I’m a newbie. Yeah I know, big surprise.
