overview

Looks kinda familiar…
Great (copy) work, what material did you use for the coxa bracket?

Btw, would recommend using a tripod for your camera or increase the light for higher shutter speed. Also check the focus.

Nice looking parts!

Should make an excellent 'bot!

Hi Zenta,
thanks

I glued 2 pieces of abs. i must order aluminum
camera is hp photosmart e327 5MP :unamused:

I hope it can walk soon,
thanks, Alan

Does your camera have a macro function? You’re holding the camera so close that it cannot focus on what you’re taking a photo of. If you have a macro function (on my camera it is an icon of a flower, instead of a person or a mountain), use it and you will see your pictures dramatically improve.

If you do NOT have a macro function, then I suggest you try this: Hold the camera much further from the object you’re taking a photo of. This will help the camera be able to focus. (In your second photo, do you see how the wires and little bottle are in focus, but the things closer to the camera are blurry?) Then just crop the empty space out of the photo.

Yes, the photo will be smaller, but it will be in focus, which is more important.

What servo do you use, 645?

by squinting i think they are 422’s. :open_mouth:

The macro function on the HP Photosmart E327 Digital Camera allows the lens to be placed from 0.6m to 1m from the object. There is a switch just under the lens on the front of the camera. When in the right position it will take normal images, people, landscapes. When in the left position it will allow close up images to be captured. Thanks almighty google… lol

Thanks for your tips and your comments.
I use 645 like original but I have a 422’s broken servo that I’m using to test . Resin gear train of 422 is not strong enough

I have a look to the camera tonight

Zenta, where do you buy Dylon dyer?

I bought it at a local dress cleaner shop.

little progress on the leg
