I want to use this step motor with a pulley of 3.0cm radius to raise (Holding Torque) a weight of 6 kg, and also remain the weight in place when no current was applied to the step motor (detent torque)
The specifications said:
gear ratio: 99
gear length: 42.5
step angle 0.018 / step
Holding torque > 60 kg.cm
Detent Torque > 11 kg.cm
speed: 1.2 ~ 3.6
With this values and my pulley, I believe that the step motor can raise easily this 6 kg weigh (60/3=20).
But the detent torque 11/3=3,6kg could be not enough to remains in place when no current is supplied to the step motor.
Are my calculations and concepts correct?
