6WD Differential Turning issue

Hi,

I have just completed building 6WD by follwoing the tutorial here.

Specs:

1. 200rpm 12v DC motor Max stall current: 300milli amp and normal current :60milli amp and 2kg torque each.

2. 6X125mm Off road tyres

3. 12v battery with 4.5ah

4. L298N Motor Driver with Max 2amp output.

5. Aurdino Mega to control the drivers and aurdino UNO for transmitting wireless signels to Mega.

The issue:

what i notice is that the vehicle with PWM from 150 to 255 its able to move forward and reverse with out any issues.

But when i try to differential turn the vehicle its just stalling and not moving at all.

can you help me in understand where the problem could be?

-is it like the Motor Driver (L298N) with Max 2amp is the culprit? do i need to get a Driver with higher amp output?

or need to get different motors with higher torque than 2kg?

or need to check my code (the logic of code i tried was comb 1. all left motors forward and all right motors reverse comb2: all left motors forward and all right motors stop - no breaking function in L298N combo3: differential speed on left and right for a curved turn - but the vehicle is going straight).

Do advice on where i am going wrong possibly. will be immese help. have been working on this project for last 4 months :) in india its hard to get parts :).

L298N

Are you using a single L298N for all six motors? I have not used the L298N, do they need external doides?
