6V regulator (MX-05) connections

Hi,

I bought the MX-05 6V regulator without paying too much attention to the connections. Now that I want to use it, I’m wondering why there are 3 cables… I suppose the black one is the ground, the red one the input or regulated tension (so for me 9V at the input and 6V at the output), but what is the white cable?

Thank you
Vincent

PS: maybe it would be worth having a slightly more detailed picture for the connections (see mx052.jpg)

that connector (red+black+white) would be to connect to your RC receiver on your robot.

I would assume the white wire is a straight pass thru for a servo control signal. If you have a multimeter, you could check that out fairly easily.

I would agree with this. It is a fairly common feature for RC applications.
