552 robot just makes noise like a motor running but nothing happens. just sits there until the battery dies.
if i put it on the charger it will begin charging the battery and also begin the same noise and still nothing is moving…

Please let us know more details about the following:

  • when you press Clean, does the vacuum work? for how long?
  • does the wheels work?
  • does the main brushes and side brush work? for how long?
  • have you replaced the battery since the purchase? for how long you are having this battery?

sounds like the drive motor is running, but nothing is moving. no lights on buttons anymore.
it continues to run until the battery dies.

I took it all apart and found the circuit board has liquid on it and now the board is covered with green etc.

so I believe this would be the problem… i am letting it dry out but I think it is too late for any recovery.

looks like it is a replaceable part though…
