I have a 560 that was replaced by irobot for it’s strange behavior. It stops every few seconds with no obstacles. Do not assume the obvious usual problem since it was replaced by irobot. Will the robot shop repair it for sure with guaranty?
Hi alanduq,
Welcome to the RobotShop forum.
Is the robot still doing the same thing even after having been replaced? Has the bahavior changed compared to when it was having a problem the first time? Also, we’re unsure: is it the new replacement model that’s having problems, or perhaps had they not given you a return label to return the defective main unit, and you’re looking to have that unit repairs?
When you set it to clean, does the robot ever eventually stop until you come get it, either to restart it or to put it back on the charger? See if the robot is giving you any kind of beep error code; this may give us an idea of what the problem is.
All Roomba repairs we do are covered under a 3-month guarantee, however, our procedures are changing. We are no longer repairing robots that were not purchased with RobotShop. If your robot was purchased with us, we suggest you submit a ticket to the support center with your client information (it’s recommended not to put personal information on the forum, which is public) and we can take care of you that way. The support center can be found here. Otherwise if your robot was purchased elsewhere, we suggest you contact the manufacturer like you had done before.
Let us know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
