hello i am building the 4wd1 rover and it has two large internal batteries – once the unit is put together how do i recharge the batteries? there is no external connector

The suggested charging method is to remove the top plate to access the connector(s).
Once we come out with a new version, we will hopefully make charging easier.
You can also consider the A4WD2 which has external batteries:
