I am a mentor for a high school robotics team and we are constructing a new platform for the upcoming season. We would like to construct a true 4wd drive system with a motor on each wheel.
The problem we have is that we are required to protect our circuits with 20 Amp breakers and we intend to use CIM motors with a FLA of over 19A, therefore we cannot put two motors on one circuit.
What we want to know is can we use a separate ESC for each motor and parallel up the Signal on the left side to control the left motors and parallel up the right side to control the right motors.
