I’ve assembled a hex with the standard 3DOF legs. It seems as though the bot is going to have trouble picking itself up from being seated on it’s belly. At some point I think I saw a leg based upon a curved C bracket in the second segment that seems like it might help with this. I can’t for the life of me find the images of the leg or even the brackets now. Anyone know what I’m talking about or have another suggestion to help the bot get a tighter angle on that last joint?
mwgemeni pointed out the bracket I was talking about:

He also suggested using a longer C-bracket on the outer half of that middle segment as he’s done.
Hi Andy…
I removed 2 leg images from the what can I build page. They were not really that different from the version most people are using, and the section is getting really long… We are changing/adding another version of the one found here.

The assembly works better if you move the vertical knee servo up to the second set of mounting holes it makes the ball bearing for the horizontal servo the lowerst point. It looks better and doesn’t scratch the table when you set it down.
