36 volt dual motor controller

Hello

I am building a robot with two 36 volt motors MY8922 I would like to have tank steer mixing

Will a Sabertooth 2x60A be ok with that voltage or should I be using the Roboclaw 2x60AHV

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Hi,

The Sabertooth Dual 60A 6V-30V has a limit of 30 V DC (absolute limit 33.6 V DC), which means you cannot use it with your 36 V DC motors as you would most certainly damage/destroy the Sabertooth with such a high voltage.
Therefore, your best option would be to indeed use the RoboClaw 2x60AHV, 60VDC.
