I want to drive at least 4 axis (better 6) with a LinuxCNC controller and therefore need more parallel ports for configuration in the HAL configuration. Robotshop offers the 32 bit parallel port across I2C and most probably speed could be enough. I only use steppers. But my question is: How can I install drivers or alike, in order to make the 32 bits available to the LinuxCNC software as regular HAL port bits?
