3-Wheeled Robot (My first project)

In month of March, i've decided to begin the construction of a robot.

That's my first robot project, it's not achieved, but all parts are assembled.

I've begin the robot on a note-pad, with a pencil and an eraser, i've switched to a DAO software to make a plan.

I've made all the parts of the chassis and the tower for the ultrasound sensor.

I've bought for this robot :

-Aluminium flat bar

-Ball-caster

-Screws and rivets

-Arduino Duemilanove

-Ultrasoud sensor from Devantech

-RP02 motor kit from Devantech

-Ni-Mh battery 12v-4000mAh

-Little breadboard

-Resistors (pull-up I2C)

-Many wires and plug

-Switch

-10 A fuse

I've programed the robot to avoid objects but the code is buggy.
When the robot go to a corner, it is not able to exit.

First Step, the chassis.

Made from aluminium parts i've cut.

Second step, making tower for detection.

Made from aluminium corner :

Third step, mounting circuits.

I've mounted the circuits with insuling tape for testing the program :

And finally, i've mounted the circuits cleanly :

Fourth Step, testing the new robot :

I've made a video of the first run of my robot :

Thanks You !

Thanks You !

Thanks you,I will continue

Thanks you,

I will continue to program the robot until it is a natural behavior.
I’ll add two SHARP sensor so that it moves more easily.

I would resume the project soon
