I recently purchased a 2x12 Sabertooth RC motor controller.
I’m using a Futaba Attack 2DR transmitter with a R162JE receiver (2 channels).
This is to control a pair of electric wheelchair motors.
I’ve got the DIP switches set for differential steering, but this is what’s happening:
Moving the left joystick forward and back causes the left motor to move forward and back.
Moving the right joystick left and right causes the right motor to go forward from stop to fast.
I recently purchased a 2x12 Sabertooth RC motor controller for 2 electric wheelchair motors. I want to be able to control the motors forward/reverse and steering using 2 channel RC system (like the joystick on a power wheelchair). But I can’t get it to operate properly.
Moving the left joystick forward/back caused the left motor to spin forward/reverse and the right motor spins forward at half speed while the right joystick is centered. With the left joystick centered the left motor stops, moving the right joystick forward/reverse causes the right motor to got from stop to fast forward.
Problem solved. Had to send it back to be exchanged. The replacement worked perfectly.
Hello Duc

I also use a sabertooth driver to control a electric wheelchair.
the control works beautiful but I dont understand the user modes in the describe Software. You use user modes?
