From my understanding, the DC motor will drain current at start up. Some batteries will not be able to hnadle the high current drain, does this mean that I will nead a capacitor to provide the high current over the short period of time?
OR will the controller supply the required current?
Can you define any of this? You’re talking about a 10 amp motor controller. What motor are you wanting to use? What batteries? I can’t think of any reason you would need a capacitor to handle the current surge when starting a motor unless the battery is severely undersized for the job.
