2WD Robotic Wagon Skidding

Hi! I’m building a large RC Wagon using 10" pneumatic wheels. Two rear wheels are driven by two 24V geared motors via chain and sprockets. Front two wheels are 10" free spinning swivel casters. I’m also using Sabertooth Dual 12A 6V-24V driver and an RC system (trigger type controller for RC cars).

It drives well on paved surfaces but gets completely stuck on grass and I can’t understand why. Wheels are skidding a lot. I first tried just one 12v 10Ah LiFePo4 battery and then added second one for 24V but it made no difference.
Sabretooth is set for differential turning.

Thing is I’ve seen this almost exact same build used for RC Lawnmower (same exact wheels, 2 motors) and it had no issues riding on any kind of terrain… Any helps or tips are greatly appreciated!

Just an update, I removed one of the front wheels and put one in the middle, so there’s now just 3. It’s now much more stable and can drive on bad terrain although it still skids on grass sometimes.
