Hi,

I’m looking at the following product for making a computer desk with hidden monitor.

25" Stroke Mini Track Actuator 2"/Sec Speed and 35lbs Force.

I’m just looking for an opinion as to whether this is a suitable product for this task if I am lifting a 13lbs, 27 inch monitor. Or is there a better suite product?

If the TV weighs 13 pounds and the actuator can provide up to 35 pounds, then you should be fine.
Note that it is a track actuator, so if you mount the TV to the traveler, the rear of the track will likely always be visible.
