Actuonix RC series linear servos operate as a direct replacements for standard analog rotary servos. They use the same standard 3 wire connector, ground, power and signal.
According to Actuonix RC series actuators datasheet, the desired position is input to the actuator on lead 1 as a positive 5 Volt pulse width signal. A 1.0 ms pulse commands the controller to fully retract the actuator, and a 2.0 ms pulse signals it to fully extend.
According to the Simple Slider datasheet the control single is based on 0-5V logic regardless of input voltage. The control signal is 5VDC referenced to ground. It is a standard RC hobby industry compatible, pulse width modulated (PWM) signal based on a 20ms period with duty cycle varying between approximately .5 and 2.5 ms.
